Lakes of Jacaranda is an absolutely beautiful deed restricted community with scenic lakes sprawling throughout. Wading birds, wildlife, and the natural beauty of the lakes are accented by mature oaks and tropical landscaping. The community clubhouse is available for members use at no charge for birthday parties, weddings, and the like. The community pool is large enough to swim laps or just enjoy a relaxing soak. Two tennis courts are available for residents use. Lakes of Jacaranda is an active community where residents enjoy a walk on the nature paths, bike ride, walk the dog, or enjoy one of the many social events. With HOA fees of approximately $500 per year, it is the best deal in town. Social activities include, Friday Night Mixers, a Writer's Group, Yoga, cruises, book club, Women's Coffee, Sewing, Men's Cards, Pool-side Chats, Bowling, Lecture Series, Dining Out, Community Golf Tournament, Holiday Dinner Dance, Octoberfest, etc. Lake of The Woods of Jacaranda, Section I, is the Master Association of which all of the individual neighborhoods belong. It includes 871 homes. Of that, 183 fall under this section alone, 76 fall under Park Estates, Section II, 612 fall under Lakes of Jacaranda Section III. Two neighborhoods under the master association have maintenance free aspects and pay an additional nominal fee. They are Grassy Oaks II, Section IV, and Grassy Oaks, III, Section V.
