The Welsh Team supports local charities. 

Wayne's 25 year career as a decorated Firefighter/Paramedic has taught him to live life with vigor, appreciate his many blessings, and to care about others in need.  Retiring as a Battalion Chief, Wayne was exposed to many individuals who were experiencing tragedies in their lives.  Helping them through those difficult times was rewarding.

There are 280 students attending the school you see in the photographs.  This building also serves as the church.
 
There is no water at the school.  The nearest source of water is a well that is one half mile away.  One of our current projects is providing water filters for 5 gallon buckets and iodine tablets so that there is at least a small amount of clean water available for the children.  A long term goal is to develop a source of water at the school.
 
We are currently sending down money to buy plates, utensils and a large pot to prepare rice and beans for lunch.  We are also sending down money to pay for the teachers at the school."
